Report

Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route ZZ at Route Z, about two miles west of Sikeston, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash, identified as incident 260410725 and investigated under Troop E jurisdiction, occurred at 1:45 p.m. on September 26, 2026, per the Patrol's report. It involved a 2014 Toyota Camry traveling southbound and a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound, the report states.

A 20-year-old woman from Sikeston, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. A 27-year-old man from Sikeston, an occupant in the crash, also suffered serious injuries and was taken for treatment, the report says.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
