Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US-136 at Route M, about seven miles east of Tarkio in Atchison County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The crash occurred on September 3, 2026, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Patrol reported. Involved were a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado and a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara, both traveling eastbound on US-136 at the time of the collision, according to the Patrol's report.
A 29-year-old man from Blanchard, Iowa, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. A 67-year-old woman from Tarkio, an occupant in the crash, also sustained minor injuries and was taken for treatment, according to the report.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop H is investigating the incident, cataloged under crash report number 260374134.
