Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Missouri Route 174 at Farm Road 31, about five miles west of Republic, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The crash happened at 10:45 a.m. on September 12, 2026, the Patrol said. A 2015 Toyota Highlander was traveling westbound when it collided with a 2020 Dodge Challenger heading eastbound, according to the preliminary report.
A 53-year-old man from Mt. Vernon, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. A 73-year-old woman from Jackson, Missouri, also sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the report.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data, with temperatures around 78 degrees and winds near 11 mph.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop D is investigating the crash, identified in Patrol records as incident number 260389761.
