Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Old Highway 66 about one mile east of Cuba in Crawford County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 4:07 p.m. on September 21, 2026, and was investigated by the Patrol's Troop I.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2023 Ford Ranger and a 2026 Toyota Corolla were both traveling westbound when the collision occurred. Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
A 52-year-old woman from Taft, California, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 54-year-old man, also from Taft, California, who was riding as an occupant, likewise suffered minor injuries and was taken for treatment.
