Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on MO-J at Titan Avenue, about a mile south of Altamont, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred at 3:10 p.m. on July 14, 2026, per the preliminary report from the Patrol's Troop H. A 2011 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound on MO-J when it collided with a 2014 Ford F250 traveling northbound, the report states.

A 20-year-old man from Lathrop and a 24-year-old woman from Cameron, identified in the report as the female driver, both sustained serious injuries in the crash and were transported for medical treatment, according to the Highway Patrol.
