Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway H about 1.5 miles south of Mount Vernon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred at 5:55 a.m. on September 17, 2026, and involved a 2012 Toyota Prius traveling north and a 2025 Jeep Compass traveling east, the Patrol reported.
