Two people were injured when a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette crashed on MO FF about half a mile south of Battlefield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol's Troop D, which covers the area, is investigating the crash, which occurred as the Corvette was traveling southbound, per the agency's preliminary online crash report.

A 19-year-old female occupant and a 21-year-old male driver both sustained minor injuries in the crash, the Highway Patrol reported. Both were transported to a medical facility for treatment.
