Two people were injured Monday afternoon when a pickup truck crashed on Highway H northeast of Gainesville, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The Patrol said the crash occurred at 1:35 p.m. about 17 miles northeast of Gainesville in Ozark County, within Troop G's jurisdiction. A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north at the time of the crash, per the report.

Three people were in the vehicle, the Patrol said. The driver, a 51-year-old man from Hollister, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment. A 45-year-old woman from Ozark, Missouri, suffered serious injuries and was also transported for treatment, according to the report. A 27-year-old woman from Mountain Home, Arkansas, was not injured in the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, cataloged as crash number 260294022.
