Two people were injured Sunday morning when a motorcycle they were riding crashed on MO-86 about five miles southeast of Golden, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the crash happened around 8:00 a.m. and involved a single 2023 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle that was traveling west on MO-86 at the time.

A 61-year-old man driving the motorcycle and a 72-year-old woman riding as a passenger both sustained minor injuries in the crash, the patrol reported. Both were transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop D is investigating the crash, cataloged under incident number 260380504. No fatalities were reported.
