Two men were seriously injured Thursday evening when the motorcycle they were riding crashed on Highway AD about three miles north of Rogersville in Greene County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5:49 p.m., the Highway Patrol said. A 2003 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway AD at the time of the incident, according to the agency's report.
A 27-year-old man from Sedalia and a 30-year-old man from Ozark, both occupants of the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the Highway Patrol reported. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the single-vehicle crash.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data, with temperatures near 76 degrees and light winds.
