Two men were injured Saturday evening when the motorcycle they were riding went down on Route W north of Bethany, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 7:55 p.m. on southbound Route W, about five miles north of Bethany, the Patrol said in its online crash report. The report identifies the vehicle involved as a 2005 Suzuki VL800 motorcycle traveling southbound at the time of the crash.

A 22-year-old man from Bethany, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, suffered moderate injuries, while the driver, a 24-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, sustained minor injuries, according to the Patrol. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment, the report states.

The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop H, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating, per the report.
