Two young adults from Stover were injured Tuesday evening when the motorcycle they were riding crashed on Ivy Bend Road in Morgan County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. on June 30, 2026, about 1,837 feet north of Cripple Creek Lane, the patrol said in its online crash report. A single vehicle was involved — a 2006 Yamaha Road Star 1700 motorcycle traveling northbound at the time of the incident.

The driver, a 20-year-old man from Stover, sustained moderate injuries, while a 20-year-old woman also from Stover, riding as an occupant, suffered serious injuries, the patrol reported. Both were transported to receive medical treatment following the crash.
