Two women were injured Friday afternoon when their vehicles collided at the intersection of MO-52 and MO-5 in Morgan County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at approximately 12:10 p.m. local time on September 18, 2026, the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states. A 2023 Chevrolet Traverse was traveling westbound while a 2017 GMC Sierra was headed southbound when the two vehicles came together at the junction, according to the report.
A 50-year-old woman and an 80-year-old woman, both from Eldon, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. Both were transported to a medical facility for treatment.
