Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 49 north of Nevada, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on September 12, 2026, at approximately 9:20 a.m. on I-49 northbound at mile marker 112.0, about 7.5 miles north of Nevada in Vernon County, the Patrol's preliminary crash report states.
A 2012 red Ford F150 was traveling northbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2025 white Chevrolet Trax traveling southbound, according to the report.
A 60-year-old male driver and a 62-year-old female occupant each sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.
The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D and remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
