Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash south of Highlandville on the morning of Aug. 5, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 11:50 a.m. on US-160, about two miles south of Highlandville in Christian County. A 2026 White RAM 2500 and a 2014 Volkswagen Passat, both traveling northbound, were involved, patrol records show.

The RAM 2500 was driven by a 62-year-old man from Green Forest, Arkansas, who sustained minor injuries, according to the Highway Patrol. The Passat was driven by an 81-year-old woman from Crane, Missouri, who also sustained minor injuries. Both drivers were transported for medical treatment, the patrol's report states.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D is investigating the crash, listed under incident number 260330017.
