Two people were injured Thursday afternoon when a northbound Honda CRV and a southbound GMC pickup collided on Missouri 21 north of Kayak Road in Washington County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash, listed as incident 260310180 in the Patrol's online report, happened at about 3:15 p.m. on July 23, 2026, and was investigated by Troop C.

The Patrol said a 2009 Honda CRV was traveling north and a 2012 GMC 1500 was traveling south when the two vehicles collided. A 31-year-old female driver from Cadet, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A juvenile occupant also sustained moderate injuries and was taken for treatment.

No fatalities were reported in the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.
