Two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash on MO 13 south of Interstate 70 in Lafayette County on Sept. 1, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report. The crash was recorded at 5:20 p.m.

According to the Highway Patrol, a 2011 Ford Escape was traveling northbound on MO 13 when it collided with a southbound 2020 Freightliner Cascadia. The patrol's Troop A division has jurisdiction over the investigation.

The driver of the Ford Escape, a 23-year-old man from Warrensburg, sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported. The driver of the Freightliner, a 51-year-old man from Owings Mills, suffered minor injuries and was also taken for medical care.

The crash is listed under Missouri State Highway Patrol incident number 260371635. No fatalities were reported in connection with the collision.
