A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of MO-D and MO-2 in Cass County left two people injured on July 30, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 2:45 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report, a 2024 Toyota traveling southbound and a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado traveling northbound collided at the intersection. Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
A 79-year-old female occupant sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol said. An 83-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken for medical care.
