A two-vehicle crash on the evening of July 9, 2026, sent one man to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at the intersection of US 160 and MO 17, about five miles east of West Plains, the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound while a 2023 Dodge Durango was headed westbound when the two vehicles collided at the intersection, according to the report.
