Two people from Clarence were hurt Tuesday afternoon when a Chevrolet Tahoe they were traveling in crashed on US-63 about three miles south of Macon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The Patrol said the 2021 Tahoe was headed southbound at the time of the crash, which occurred around 1:25 p.m. local time. Light drizzle was falling in the area, with winds near 15 mph, according to weather data.
The 62-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries, while a 62-year-old female occupant, also 62, sustained moderate injuries, the Patrol reported. Both were transported to receive medical treatment following the crash.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B is handling the investigation into the crash, which has been logged under incident report number 260465351. No additional details about the cause of the crash have been released.
