Two people were injured Friday afternoon when a car went off MO-E about three miles south of Commerce, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The patrol said the crash, logged as incident 260343891, occurred at 1:07 p.m. and falls under the jurisdiction of Troop E. A single vehicle was involved — a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis that was traveling southbound at the time, per the report.

A 71-year-old male driver and a 66-year-old female occupant both suffered moderate injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the Highway Patrol reported. No fatalities were recorded in connection with the crash.
