Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route F about three miles northwest of Eagle Rock in Barry County, according to a preliminary online report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2026, the patrol's report states. A 2021 Kia Stinger was traveling westbound on Route F at the time of the incident, according to the report.

The vehicle's two occupants, a 59-year-old man from Independence and a 56-year-old woman from Kansas City, sustained minor injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Both were transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol's report.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D is investigating the crash, identified in patrol records as incident number 260424983. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
