Two people suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash late Monday night on Route YY northwest of Carl Junction, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2026, about a half-mile northwest of Carl Junction, the Patrol said. A 2003 Mazda MX-5 was traveling southbound on Route YY when the vehicle was involved in the crash, authorities reported.
Both occupants of the Mazda sustained minor injuries, according to the Patrol's report. No other vehicles were listed as involved in the crash.
A light drizzle was falling at the time, with winds around 17 mph, according to weather data for the area.
The crash was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D and documented under crash report number 260464724.
