Report

Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on westbound US 50 west of Route AA in Johnson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred the morning of August 30, 2026, and was investigated by Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol under incident number 260368222, the agency's online crash report states.

According to the patrol, a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and a 2019 Ford F250 were both traveling westbound on US 50 at the time of the collision. A juvenile occupant sustained minor injuries and declined medical transport, the report indicates. A 42-year-old woman from Lee's Summit, Missouri, who was driving, also sustained minor injuries and refused transport to a hospital, the patrol reported.
