Two men from Fulton were injured Friday afternoon when the pickup truck they were riding in left the roadway on Route WW in Callaway County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 4:40 p.m. on Route WW eastbound near County Road 340, the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound at the time of the incident, according to the report.

A 55-year-old male occupant sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. The vehicle's 56-year-old male driver, also of Fulton, suffered minor injuries and was likewise taken for treatment, according to the report.

The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop F, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
