Two men were injured in a two-vehicle crash on MO-86 at Route P, about four miles south of Joplin, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Highway Patrol's Troop D reported that the collision occurred on July 13, 2026, at 9:20 a.m. and involved a 2024 Kia Rio traveling eastbound and a 2025 GMC 1500 traveling northbound.

The driver of the Kia, a 50-year-old man from Joplin, sustained minor injuries, as did the driver of the GMC, a 72-year-old man from Bella Vista, Arkansas. Both men were transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.
