Two drivers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Route H just north of Pleasant Hope, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report.

The crash occurred at 11:05 a.m. on August 29, 2026, about a quarter mile north of Pleasant Hope in Polk County, the Patrol reported. It involved a 1999 Ford F-350 traveling northbound and a 2021 Ford Explorer traveling southbound on Route H, the report states.

The driver of the F-350, a 64-year-old man from Fair Grove, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. The driver of the Explorer, a 74-year-old woman from Halfway, also suffered minor injuries and was taken for treatment, the report says.

The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
