A two-vehicle crash on MO-92/State Route E in Clay County left two drivers injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The crash happened at about 6:54 p.m. on July 27, 2026, the Patrol reported. Investigators said a 2015 Volkswagen Passat was traveling westbound when it collided with a 2013 Ford Edge headed southbound.
The driver of the Passat, a 27-year-old man from Watford City, North Dakota, suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. The driver of the Ford Edge, a 45-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, sustained minor injuries, according to the report.
Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is handling the investigation into the crash.
