Two women sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 54 Westbound at United Road in Cole County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2026, the Patrol reported. A 2020 Mazda 3 was traveling west and a 2020 Ford Edge was traveling north when the two vehicles collided, according to the Patrol's report.
A 57-year-old female driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Lake Regional by Cole County EMS, the Patrol said. A 76-year-old female driver from Henley, Missouri, also sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the report.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, operating under Troop F jurisdiction, is investigating the crash under incident number 260330806. Cole County EMS assisted with transport of one of the injured drivers.
