On Monday, a single-vehicle accident on I-10 injured three people, including a child.
The Scott Fire Department responded to the scene on I-10 at 12:07 pm after getting reports of a traffic collision. On arrival, they came to know that a single vehicle had crashed with all three occupants thrown from the vehicle. Responders immediately provided first aid to the victims, including two adults and a one-year-old.
Eyewitnesses informed firefighters that the vehicle rolled three times before coming to a stop in the median. The minor was airlifted, while the two adults were taken by ambulance, to the nearest hospital for the treatment of their injuries. The road was closed for a short period. All lanes are now back open again on I-10 West at Mile Marker 96.
