Two Adrian residents were seriously injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash on MO 18 west of Route KK in Bates County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The patrol says the collision occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. on July 2, involving a 2019 Jeep Renegade traveling westbound and a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo traveling eastbound on MO 18.

A 65-year-old woman from Adrian, one of the drivers involved, sustained serious injuries in the crash, the patrol reported. A 72-year-old man from Adrian, driving the other vehicle, also suffered serious injuries.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A is investigating the crash, which has been assigned report number 260276281.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the incident.
