One lane of Highway 120 was closed following a deadly multi-vehicle accident west of Escalon.
As per the initial information, the fatal three-vehicle wreck took place a little after 2 p.m. on Highway 120. The early reports showed that a big rig and two Sedans were involved in the collision. At this time, it is unknown how many people died or were injured as a result of the collision.
Drivers were asked to expect delays in the area due to one-way traffic controls with no estimated time of reopening. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
