A three-vehicle crash on Route 50 west of Carl Junction left two people with minor injuries on the afternoon of Sept. 21, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The patrol said the collision happened around 3:15 p.m., roughly 50 feet west of Carl Junction, and falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D.
According to the crash report, all three vehicles — a 2006 GMC Sierra, a 2025 Kia K4 and a 2018 Infiniti QX80 — were traveling southbound at the time of the crash.
A juvenile driver sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported. A 65-year-old woman from Carl Junction, also a driver in the crash, was treated for minor injuries as well, according to the same report.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data, with temperatures around 77 degrees and light wind.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the crash. No fatalities were reported.
