Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash that injured three people. The crash happened on Highway 27 and Welcome road in Roopville on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews extricated a female trapped in a red vehicle, said the Heard County Fire Department Deputy Chief Robert Bell.
The SUV occupants, One adult, and a child were also injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries is not known at this moment. All three were life-flighted to Grady Hospital.
Georgia State Patrol shut down the southbound lanes following the crash. An investigation into the crash is underway. There is no information regarding the age, name, or other relevant details.
