A two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 left three people injured, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 1:25 p.m. on July 18, 2026, about six miles east of Piedmont in Wayne County, the Patrol said. A 2008 Pontiac G6 traveling westbound and a 2014 Ford Fusion traveling eastbound were involved, according to the report.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
Three people were transported for medical treatment following the crash, the Patrol reported. A 28-year-old male driver from Piedmont sustained moderate injuries, as did a 30-year-old male driver from Farmington. A 35-year-old female occupant, also from Farmington, sustained serious injuries, according to the Patrol's report.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop E is investigating the crash under incident number 260302104.
