Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 13 about 1.6 miles north of Springfield on July 29, 2026, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:14 p.m. and involved a 2013 Honda Fit and a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, both traveling southbound at the time, the Patrol's online crash report states.

A 30-year-old woman from Moberly, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. An 82-year-old woman from Nixa, driving the other vehicle, also suffered minor injuries and was taken for treatment. An 82-year-old male passenger from Nixa, riding with the Nixa driver, sustained serious injuries and was likewise transported to receive medical care.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash, per the Patrol's report.
