Three people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on westbound I-44 in Phelps County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The collision happened at mile marker 179.8 on September 2, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The crash involved a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia and a 2019 International MoDOT truck, both traveling westbound at the time, the Highway Patrol reported.

All three occupants involved sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. Those injured included a 66-year-old man from Rolla, a 69-year-old man from Cleveland, Texas, who was identified as a driver, and a 72-year-old man from Rolla, also identified as a driver.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop I is handling the investigation into the incident, which was logged as crash report number 260373061.
