Three people suffered minor injuries early Thursday when a car ran off US-54 about two miles west of Dederick in Vernon County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol said a westbound 2023 Chevrolet Malibu was involved in the single-vehicle crash, which happened around 6 a.m., according to the agency's online crash report. Light drizzle was falling at the time, according to weather data.

A 20-year-old male driver from El Dorado Springs, a 23-year-old female passenger also from El Dorado Springs, and a juvenile occupant all sustained minor injuries, the Patrol reported. All three were transported for medical treatment following the crash.

Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is handling the investigation, which carries incident number 260417377, according to the Patrol's online crash report.
