A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 eastbound left three people injured on the night of Sept. 15, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The wreck happened at approximately 10:19 p.m. near mile marker 25.0 in Jackson County.

The patrol said a 2023 Volkswagen Taos was traveling eastbound when the crash occurred. All three occupants of the vehicle were injured and transported for medical treatment, authorities reported.
