Three people were injured when a car ran off Highway 76 near Farm Road 1040, about one mile west of Exeter, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash was reported the morning of August 26, 2026.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2005 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound when the single-vehicle crash occurred. Light rain was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
All three occupants of the Camry were transported for medical treatment, the Highway Patrol reported. A 24-year-old male occupant sustained moderate injuries, a 33-year-old male occupant suffered serious injuries, and the 48-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries, according to the patrol's preliminary report.
Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is handling the investigation into the crash, which occurred in Barry County.
