An 18-year-old man from Licking sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 about a quarter mile east of Halltown, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol's online crash report indicates the collision occurred late on Sept. 20, 2026, at 11:58 p.m., and involved a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, both traveling eastbound on I-44 at the time.
