A 24-year-old Tarkio man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on US 136 near Rockport, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 7:50 a.m. about half a mile east of L Avenue and roughly three miles east of Rockport in Atchison County, the Patrol's online crash report states.
According to the preliminary report, the driver was operating a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer eastbound on US 136 when the vehicle was involved in the crash. The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, the Patrol said.
No other vehicles were reported involved, and there were no fatalities.
The crash, logged as incident number 260461249, was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H.
