On Sunday night, injuries were reported after an SUV smashed into a storefront following a multi-vehicle wreck in Burbank.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle pile-up took place at about 8:15 p.m. at Verdugo Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard. According to the reports, there were piles of brick, wood, and wreckage in front of the store. The store seemed to be closed when the car slammed into the front.
The driver of the SUV that ran through the store was taken into custody for reckless driving. The identity of the man has not been released at this time. The incident did not lead to any serious injuries. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
