Suspected intoxicated driver slams into a concrete barrier in Franklin County (Franklin County, WA)

On Saturday night, a truck crashed into a concrete barrier in Franklin County.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place just after 10:30 PM on the Highway 12 bridge that connects Pasco to Burbank. The early reports showed that the man failed to maintain control of his truck and slammed into the concrete barrier.

The collision almost sent the truck over the edge of the Snake River Bridge but the driver managed to stop short of falling. The driver remained unharmed in the accident. A DUI investigation was conducted, but it is unknown if the man was arrested or cited. No further details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
