Stolen Vehicle With Children Involved In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, TN)

The Murfreesboro Police reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in a stolen car with children. 

According to the police, a woman stole a grey Acura MDX SUV belonging to a good Samaritan following a crash. 

The primary investigation reported that the woman was travelling on Interstate 24 when she hit a curb as she got off the Medical Center Parkway exit. 

The woman drove down the parkway crashing into two other vehicles. Following the crash, she crossed into on-coming traffic and hit a tree. 

The Tennesse Police Department along with the Metro Nashville Police Department caught the suspect. 

The children were not injured in the crash.

The suspect is detained by the police. 

The incident is being investigated. 

The identity of the suspect is awaited.
