A 67-year-old St. Louis man suffered moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash on eastbound I-270 north of New Halls Ferry Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. on August 4, 2026, the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was traveling eastbound in a 2009 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle was involved in the wreck, according to the preliminary report.

The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved, and no fatalities resulted from the crash.
