A 64-year-old man from St. Charles died following a single-vehicle crash on US 54 in Camden County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 3:19 p.m. on August 23, 2026, on eastbound US 54 about 633 feet west of Route A, the Patrol's online crash report states. Authorities said the driver was traveling eastbound in a 2018 Ford F250 when the crash happened.

The driver was transported for medical treatment but did not survive his injuries, according to the Patrol. No other vehicles were reported involved, and no additional injuries were listed in connection with the crash.
