A 46-year-old Springfield man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Blue Springs Road about one mile south of Battlefield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The crash was reported at 7:20 a.m. on September 1, 2026, the Patrol said. The driver was riding a 2005 Honda VTX1300 westbound on Blue Springs Road at the time of the crash, according to the crash report.

The man was transported for medical treatment after sustaining minor injuries, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the report.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as crash number 260370624.
