A 32-year-old Springfield man suffered moderate injuries Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on Route H about five miles north of Forsyth, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the crash occurred around noon and involved a single vehicle, a 2013 Honda CVR motorcycle traveling southbound at the time. The driver, the only person involved in the crash, was transported for medical treatment following the incident, the Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was investigated by troopers operating under Troop D jurisdiction, which covers Taney County. Authorities logged the incident as case number 260420931 as part of the Highway Patrol's online crash reporting system.
