Six juveniles received injuries after a traffic accident Thursday in North Nashville while authorities arrested 22-year-old Unique Holt in connection with the wreck.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place on Ewing Drive. The preliminary reports showed that Unique Holt was driving a car on Ewing Drive when her vehicle veered off the road and went into a ditch, launching her car into the air.
Holt was driving with six juveniles at the time of the accident. One of them was ejected from the vehicle due to the crash and was found lying in the street. Everyone was taken to Vanderbilt with unspecified injuries. A nurse in emergency room at Vanderbilt Pediatrics informed officers that the children’s injuries were consistent with not using a seat belt or other child restraint device.
After inspecting the vehicle, officers found marijuana paraphernalia and a bag containing 4.8 ounces of marijuana and a Xanax bar. Holt was detained and the children were placed safely in the custody of a grandparent. She faces multiple charges of child endangerment, drug possession and driving with a revoked license. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
